GCC Demo

My name is Mandi. I'm a professional Hairstylist but when my hubby and I desided to try for our first baby we also desided I would stay home for the first year. Seeing that he is in the military and would be deployed the first 6mnths of our daughter's life.

So, the year went by and I wanted to get back to work but longed to stay home and raise my daughter too. So, I became a GC Demo In feb 2007.

GC was first introduced to me while I was pregnant (at a party) and I absolutely love the product! The fragrance is throughout the candle and the wax burns cool. This is what attracted me to GC.

At the party I thought to myself "hey I could do that". I kept the ladies business card and a year later, I became a demo. Like most mothers, I wanted to stay home and still wanted to earn an income, make my own hours, and sell a product that I love. I got this all with GC.

My favorite candle from GC (which is really hard to pick just one) but I have to say Christmas presence, which is in our seasonal catty. I'm really excited about it too because there are so many nice things to pick from. I think I just want it all.

As for my goals in this business, well to get my name out there and to run my business successfully. I am not sure where the road will take me but for now I love what Iam doing and I enjoy the feeling of being my own boss again.

That is my story, thanks for reading it.

GCC are fabulous! Of course, they are a little bit sparse on the accessories and I far prefer PL votives and tealights to GCC votives and tealights. But I love the jar candles and I love the fact that I can put on the lid and the fragrance stays great year after year. In fact, I seasonally decorate with the scents and if I didn't finish burning them down, I just put them away until the next season. And, when I pull out the candle next season, it doesn't look like a half burned candle.

But, I have to tell you, I did a lot better with GCC than I ever did with PL. The same with Homemade Gourmet and with AVON. I guess those were better fits for me and my lifestyle.

However, I am now doing nothing. I am in the process of deep cleaning and organizing my home (what would take you girls days takes me months) and when I'm done, I'm going to have a HUGE yard sale and then take a little vakay. Mare is coming out in October to help me and then I'm going to surprise her with our little vakay. She hasn't a clue that we are going or where we are going, but I'm sure she'll figure it out-lol.

And then, when we get back, I'm going to concentrate on what I do best, writing.

GL with your business, you will love it.

PS: One way I got my name out there was I created a Welcome to Our Neighborhood Gift Bag. I included a catalog PLUS the smallest jar candle there was in Macintosh Apple. Then, I went around the 'hood looking and writing down addresses that had for sale signs on them. When the for sale sign came down, I took the gift bag and left it on the front porch.

I got more customers that way....
